The Student Experience

I truly love the ACE Mentor Program because it helped me reveal my true potential. My spectacular mentors guided me through challenging parts of the project and always gave me positive feedback. The mentors were extremely generous and after their usual long day of work, they would cheerfully welcome me to the afterschool program with a wide smile on their faces. ACE has taught me a vast amount of skills needed in order to become a powerful female leader in the engineering field. This program has offered me an abundance of strategies and techniques to help me thrive not only in my future career, but in life itself.

Founded in 1994 by a group of leading architects, contractors and engineers in New York City, the program has served more than 77,000 students nationwide and over 17,000 students in New York alone. Today, more than 13,000 students and 4,100 mentors participate in ACE each year in 37 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
