ACE GNY Scholarship Program

Since 1994, the ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY has awarded over $2.7 million in scholarships to college-bound seniors who participate in the ACE GNY program and meet specific criteria. The goal of the program is to support students who intend to pursue careers in the design and construction industry. The ACE GNY Scholarship Application opens each November and will be announced via newsletters, emails and at team meetings once the application opens; all senior students assigned to a team will receive weekly email reminders about the scholarship. Scholarship status emails will be sent to all applicants by the end of May.

The 2022-23 ACE GNY Scholarship application is open! All senior students intending to major in the AEC field are strongly recommended to apply. The application is available on senior students’ profile in the ACE Database.

External Scholarships

The ASME INSPIRE/ Charles W.E. Clarke Scholarship – Student needs to be a graduating high school senior who intends to pursue an engineering degree or STEM-related studies. Click here for more information. Deadline is March 15, 2023.

JOHN A. CAVANAGH SCHOLARSHIP FUND – NYC High School Award – Applicants must be a NYC high school senior who will be admitted to an accredited two or four year college. Applicants must establish significant financial need, and their  desire and ability to pursue a career in construction management, architecture, civil or electrical engineering, or another professional or managerial position in the construction industry. Walter A. Hunt, Jr. Scholarship – Applicants must be NYC Public School or Charter School seniors who have been accepted to a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture program at a NAAB-accredited School of Architecture in the U.S. Click here for more information. Deadline is May 26, 2023.

LGBTQ+ STEM Scholarship Any LGBTQ+ student pursuing their undergraduate college degree in a STEM field can apply to the LGBTQ+ STEM Scholarship from Study.com and be offered a $1,000 academic award. Study.com’s mission is to make education accessible, and we hope to bring this historically underrepresented group of students access to a quality education with this scholarship. Michael Ford’s $10,000.00 Hip Hop Architecture Scholarship – awards $2,500 per year for four years, totaling $10,000.00 to a minority high school senior who accepted into a 4 year college or university to study architecture.
