Alumni

The ACE GNY Alumni Network supports former participants of the ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY as they advance in their careers in architecture, engineering, and construction. Our mission is to foster continued professional growth by providing networking opportunities, mentorship, and industry resources to ACE alumni at all stages of their careers. Since its inception, ACE GNY has empowered thousands of students to explore careers in the built environment. The alumni network extends this support beyond high school, helping former mentees stay connected, develop professionally, and contribute to the next generation of ACE professionals.

What opportunities are available to Alumni?

As an incoming college freshmen, Alumni have access to our Ambassador Program,  a peer-to-peer on campus mentoring program where incoming freshmen are connected with a junior/senior on campus and supported throughout their first year. Throughout their time in college, Alumni are invited to apply to summer internships at partner firms participating in the Alumni Summer Internship Program as well as other firms that are friendly toward ACE. To help with their applications, ACE GNY hosts remote professional development events like Resume Review, Mock Interviews, Networking Tips, and more. ACE GNY also hosts fun in-person networking events for Alumni during summer and winter break. As Alumni start to seek full-time employment, ACE GNY shares entry-level career programs at partner and related firms. After entering the industry successfully, Alumni always have the invitation to come back as mentors and support the next generation of designers and builders.
