Join us on March 15th for the Portfolio and Professionalism Workshop presented by Handel Architects!
During the first portion of the workshop, Handel will present to all ACE GNY Alumni about preparing portfolios, professionalism, and interning at an architecture firm.
After, students who have signed up with have their portfolios reviewed and practice mock interviews with the professionals at Handel. Space is limited for portfolio review and mock interviews – please sign up as soon as possible to reserve your review spot.

All ACE GNY Alumni are invited to join us on Thursday, March 2 as AECOM reviews resumes and practices interviewing skills with students applying forinternships for Summer 2023..Space is limited – alumni should sign-up at the link in our weekly newsletter as soon as possible to reserve their timeslot. ACE GNY is partnering with Buro Happold Engineering for the second year to review ACE GNY Alumni’s resumes and practice mock interviews before applying to Summer 2023 internships!
ACE GNY Alumni and a BH Volunteer will be paired up before the events. Pairs will be placed in a Zoom breakout room during the event to review resumes or practice interviewing.
All Alumni registered in the ACE Database are invited to attend.

On January 16, 2020, the ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY hosted the Internship Prep workshop! College alumni listened to a panel discussion from representatives from Cerami & Associates, Syska Hennessy Group, Gensler, Jaros Baum, and Bolles, and WSP USA.
After the panel, college students, firm representatives, and working alumni broke out into small groups for more detailed conversation about individual experiences and advice.
The ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY promoted our summer internship program, and invited college alumni to engage in upcoming opportunities.
The ACE GNY Alumni Committee is happy to announce the 2019 Summer Alumni Networking Event!
Attendees can catch up with friends that were on their ACE team, as well as meet industry professionals, graduates, and college students that were in the mentoring program in high school.
The Alumni Committee will be announcing resources that are available to alumni, including the ACE GNY Alumni Internship Program, how to find ACE-related fellowships and scholarships, and more.
The ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY Alumni Summer Internship Program is a partnership with ACE Greater NY board member firms to provide preference for their summer internship opportunities to ACE Alumni that are currently enrolled in college and studying an A/C/E related major.
Beginning in December, registered Alumni receive emails weekly with internship opportunities that are directly looking for ACE GNY Alumni. ACE GNY staff send the names of the students that applied to each internship directly to the human resources director at each firm.
This event is a closed networking lunch between the alumni students currently interning in ACE GNY board member firms and ACE GNY board members.

The Alumni Internship Program will be holding a kickoff breakfast to allow interns hired through the ACE GNY AIP and learn about the importance of internships and skill-building. Students will hear from human resource professionals, mentors, and A-E-C industry leaders.
Founded in 1994 by a group of leading architects, contractors and engineers in New York City, the program has served more than 77,000 students nationwide and over 16,000 students in New York alone. Today, more than 13,000 students and 4,100 mentors participate in ACE each year in 37 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
