OPEN HOUSE NEW YORK POP-UP LIBRARY

Open House New York provides broad audiences with unparalleled access to the extraordinary architecture of New York and to the people who help design, build, and preserve the city. Through its annual OHNY Weekend, Open House New York celebrates the best examples of design and planning throughout the five boroughs, from historic to contemporary, and helps foster a more informed conversation about how architecture and urban design sustain New York as a vibrant place to live, work, and learn. Open House New York is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Every October, Open House New York Weekend unlocks the doors of New York’s most important buildings, offering an extraordinary opportunity to experience the city and meet the people who design, build, and preserve New York.

We will be doing an architecture/design themed Pop-Up Library on October 19 and 20 from 11am- 4pm to celebrate OHNY. We are open to doing one or both days, and looking for architecture/design-themed activities and family programming.

We are looking for volunteers to help support Open House New York during their Pop-up Library on October 19th and 20th.

Responsibilities include: helping guests with hands-on activities (such as the ones you did in ACE!); giving out information on the event; and supporting Open House New York with tasks

Perks of Volunteering with Open House New York: free ACE shirts/giveaways; volunteer credit for college signed by ACE GNY

Please let us know by September 16 if you are interested in volunteering for these opportunities.
