Meet the 2019 ACE GNY Mentor of The Year 

Jeffrey Messinger is the 2019 ACE GNY Mentor of the year.  

Jeffrey Messinger, PE, LEED AP BD+C is a Senior Associate and Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer/Industrial Designer at STV Incorporated. He is the Team Leader for Team 11 and has been involved with ACE for 16 years.  

His peers recognize his attentiveness to students and commitment to making sure each and every voice is heard. He is a team player that encourages and supports fellow mentors with enthusiasm and an easy-going manner. Jeff goes above and beyond mentoring in the classroom, staying in touch and following up with his students to offer advice and support in securing internships. He finds the most reward in running into former students at project meetings and industry events, excited to see they are continuing their involvement in the AEC Industry.  

We recognize his team spirit, dedication, and love for mentoring with this award. We are happy to announce that a $2,000 scholarship will be announced in his name at the 2020 Scholarship Luncheon.  Jeff will also be Greater NY’s nominee for the 2020 ENR/ACE National Mentor of the Year.
