Important Information Regarding COVID-19

March 12, 2020

Due to the continued spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and policies impacting gatherings and external programming from many of our participating firms, The ACE Mentor Program of GNY (ACE GNY) has decided that all teams will begin meeting virtually effective March 16, 2020 through April 15, 2020 (should we need to continue this longer, we will let you know).

All students and parents will receive an email from their Team Leader with directions about how to access virtual sessions through GoTo Meeting. Team Leaders will still be taking attendance during virtual sessions. Students’ participation and contribution is expected and an important part of shaping the final team project. We are still planning to host final presentations in May – but of course, this will depend upon the spread of COVID-19.

We understand the new challenges that arise through virtual learning and appreciate your flexibility. The students and mentors have been consistently working hard during their sessions since November and we want to continue their progress to complete the program year.

Please monitor your emails and your child’s emails for further communication from your child’s Team Leader/Mentor and/or ACE GNY.

If you have any questions, please contact us at (646) 757-5829 or through email at GreaterNY@acementor.org.

Thank you for your trust and support of our program.

Sincerely,

The ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY Staff
