ACE Greater NY’s 24th Annual Scholarship Luncheon

The ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY is a free after school program. Our mission is to engage, excite, and enlighten high school students to pursue careers in architecture, engineering, and construction through mentoring and to support their continued advancement in the industry.

Founded in 1994 by a group of leading architects, contractors, and engineers in New York City, the program has served over 70,000 students nationwide and over 12,000 students in the Greater New York City area alone. Today more than 9,000 students and 3,600 mentors participate annually in 37 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Three-quarters of ACE students come from minority and underserved communities.

The ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY has grown to almost 50 mentors teams throughout New York City, Long Island, and Westchester and has 53 dedicated board members from leading design and construction firms, under the leadership of Chairperson John Pierce, Senior Vice President, Design & Construction, Rockefeller Group.

Since 1994, the ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY has awarded over $2 million in scholarships to ACE graduates who pursue a major related to the design and build industry. Our Scholarship Luncheon allows us to award $200,000 in scholarships each year to our deserving students.

The 2019 ACE Greater NY Scholarship Luncheon will take place on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 583 Park. This year, we are honoring: Kenneth Holden, Mount Sinai Health System; Commissioner Polly Trottenberg, NYC Department of Transportation; and Jason Aster, NY Chapter of CoreNet.
