ACE GNY FIRMS RESPOND to COVID-19: Lilker Associates 

Lilker Associates has been involved in several projects recently to support healthcare facilities in their fight against Coronavirus.  

 At New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, they have supported in converting 21,800 square feet of psychiatric floor to build sixty new ICU/Critical Care Beds located at the 6th floor of the Carrington Building. Lilker Associates worked to provide new medical gases, temporary exhaust fans, makeup air, normal power and temporary three branches of emergency power distribution circuitry. This entire project- form design to construction, was completed within three weeks.  

Lilker has also worked to provide new exhaust and return fans with HEPA filtration in the 8th floor mechanical equipment room of the Infill Building of the hospital This improvement will provide increased air flow to existing patient isolation rooms on the 5th floor. 

In addition to these improvements at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Lilker is also working with the School Construction Authority to create two COVID-19 outpatient testing facilities which will include onsite laboratories currently in design.
