ACE GNY FIRMS RESPOND TO COVID-19: CON EDISON

During these tough times, Con Edison has been working diligently to support in covid-19 relief efforts in various ways. 

From personal protective equipment, to direct support to community-based organizations, Con Edison’s support has reached New Yorkers in the five boroughs and Westchester County. 

Their local machine shop in the Bronx has supported in manufacturing over 40,000 face shields for health care workers. In addition to this, Con Edison has also donated nearly 100,000 N95 masksThey continue to support health care facilities. In addition to PPE, they have provided electricity to the emergency hospitals located in Central Park, Brooklyn and Westchester.  

They have also implemented various policies to help curb the spread of coronavirus. Shutoff of electric, gas, steam services due to non-payments have been stopped, helping to ease the burden on customers.
