2022 Mentor of the Year – Benjamin Lindner

We are thrilled to announce Benjamin Lindner as the 2022 ACE GNY Mentor of the Year! Ben is a Senior Associate at E4H Architects, and the Team Leader for Team 5.

Ben was nominated for his exceptional leadership and commitment to his team and the program. He has continued to grow as a mentor and team leader over his 6 years of mentorship with ACE GNY.

We have heard from students and mentors alike how Ben is well-deserving of this honor. His fellow mentors have shared with us the following thoughts:

“Ben goes above and beyond as a mentor by creating a positive and fun environment that keeps students engaged and excited about their involvement in the program. His gentle guidance encourages students to take control of their own learning.”

“He wants the students on his team to feel that they are operating in a safe environment where all ideas are welcome. Within this mindset, Ben recognizes and cultivates the strengths of each student.”

It is clear Ben captures the true ideals of the ACE Mentor Program and continues to inspire and support students as they start their journeys in the A-E-C industry.

A $2,500 scholarship will be announced in Ben’s name at our 2023 Scholarship Luncheon. Additionally, as the ACE GNY Mentor of the Year, Ben will also be ACE GNY’s nominee for next year’s ENR/ACE National Mentor of the Year.

Congratulations, Ben! We are proud to call you our 2022 Mentor of the Year!
